The film was created in the hardest time of war, during the evacuation. Consists of two series: the first was released in 1945, the second in 1958. For the first episode, the director and film crew received the Stalin Prize, the second was banned. The third episode of the film exists only in the script, in preparatory drawings, in working notes and several fragments captured on film.
